Florida Fast Apostille
An apostille is a one-page stamp from the Florida Department of State. It does not prove your story is true. It proves the Florida notary, clerk, or state officer who signed the document is real. Only Tallahassee can add it. You do not have to drive there.
What we actually do
You send a photo or scan of the document. We catch problems before the state does. You pay. You mail us the original. We take it to Tallahassee in person and mail the apostille back. Mailing it to the state yourself can take months. If the document has an issue, the state sends it back and you start over.
Most of our files go to Mexico, Colombia, the Dominican Republic, Venezuela, Brazil, Peru, Ecuador, and Central America. Those countries accept this Florida stamp. Cuba does not.

What Florida will stamp
Florida apostilles a Florida document. That means a record this state issued, or a signature a Florida notary took. A birth certificate, marriage certificate, or death certificate has to be a certified copy from Florida vital records. The decorative sheet from the hospital, and the card that fits in a wallet, are not that copy.
Court papers are a second pile. A divorce, a name change, an adoption, or a guardianship has to be certified by the clerk in the Florida county that entered the order. A printout from the court website is not certified. Read court orders and divorce decrees before you ship one. The state fee on those is $20, because the state adds an incumbency certificate for the clerk.
A power of attorney or an affidavit needs a Florida notary on the original. If you are already abroad, that notary is still a Florida notary, on a Florida video session. A notary in another country cannot be fixed in Tallahassee. A Florida school record is a diploma or transcript. A Florida company needs a real Sunbiz certificate, not a screenshot of the search page. An FDLE background check can be stamped. An FBI report cannot. That one goes to Washington.
What we send home
A photocopy fails. A laminated certificate fails. A birth record from another state fails, even if you live in Florida now. A Sunbiz screenshot fails. We would rather tell you that from a photo than discover it at the counter. The long versions are why photocopies are rejected, lamination, hospital keepsakes, documents from another state, and FBI reports.
Cuba does not take this stamp. If the checklist is for Cuba, call (855) 261-8500 before you pay. We will not sell you a Florida apostille that Cuba will refuse. For a country that does take it, start with Mexico, Colombia, Spain, or the full country list.
How a normal week goes
You upload a photo on the order form. We say yes or we say what is wrong. You pay. You mail the original with the order number on the label. From most of Florida that ride is one or two business days. We compare the paper to the photo and take a clean original to the Department of State. Courier drops are generally ready the next business day. Then the stamped original comes back by the FedEx service you chose.
Translate after the stamp is on the paper, not before. The office abroad usually wants the apostille page translated too. We do not translate. A $20 PDF scan lets someone start that work while the original is still in transit. The scan is not the filing. How it works is the same sequence, written as steps.
The price, in pieces
Our filing fee is $125 for the first document and $65 for each additional document in that order. Rush is $199 and $85. Florida charges $10 for the apostille, or $20 when a county clerk certified the paper. Return shipping is a separate FedEx quote from Tallahassee to your address. Those are three different bills, and prices keeps them separate on purpose. A single round number that claims to include the state and the carrier is usually a number that changes at checkout.
