Does Ecuador take a Florida stamp?
Yes. Offices in Ecuador accept the Florida foreign-use stamp (apostille) on a document that was issued in Florida or notarized by a Florida notary.

Who actually stamps the document
The embassy of Ecuador does not add this stamp to a Florida document. The Florida Department of State in Tallahassee does.
If Ecuador asks for a translation, get the Florida stamp first, then translate. Translating first is usually the wrong order.
